Genmaicha Japanese Green Tea
“Brown rice tea” or “popcorn tea” is a blend of Japanese Bancha green tea and toasted rice. Hearty and wholesome, with a mellow green tea flavor. The sugar and starch from the toasted rice cause the tea to have a warm, full, nutty flavor. This particular genmaicha comes from Shizouka prefecture.
Use 2tsp per 6oz cup
Brew for 1-2 minutes at 160-175°F.
